Why we do what we do ...
Earlier we discussed the three reasons for the incorporation of Ken-shen ryu International, but Dr. Payne was offering many of these same products and services years, and in some cases more than a decade, prior to the incorporation. That is because he has a passion for the industry and now we want will tell you a little more about why we feel so strongly about our work.
Unlike most defensive arts instructors, Dr. Payne believe that, rather than simply filling a martial arts niche, such training should meet many common personal, home, familial and business security needs. That is why he long ago dedicated himself to teaching martial arts and more.
He believes that, as a result of this dedication, our school is the best around, maybe even in the world, so Dr Payne encourages students to try to find this same combination of services and incentives at any other school. He am so convinced that you will not find anything like it anywhere, that if you will receive a free month of training with Dr. Payne himself, the 2009 United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame "Instructor of the Year."

Who we are ..
Dr. Philip A. Payne, Th. D. and Associates, LLC (the Company) is a legal entity, formed in the State of Indiana and owned primarily by Dr. Philip A. Payne. While there are other, minor shareholders, Dr. Payne is the majority shareholder and Chief-of-Operations.
The Company is always run jointly by Dr. Payne and a Chief Executive Officer. Currently, our C.E.O. is Glenn J. Hardman.
We are a faith based, client oriented, multifaceted, service company with three goals:
1) We will provide high quality products and services to our clients and amazing career opportunities to members of our community.
2) We will earn an honest living and support our families.
3) We will support ourselves in missionary endeavors.
By the definition provided in its own incorporation documents, the Company is a security and personal protection company. This can be seen in the fact that we own a diversified number of personal protection and survival training divisions, as well as having our own gear sales division for those interested in taking their training to the highest level.
However, Dr. Payne also has a heart for small business owners, having built his business from scratch beginning with a $250.00 investment over fifteen years ago. Therefore, Dr. Payne encourages other Brothers (and Sisters) with a desire to do business and serve the one true God, to stop dreaming and start doing ... today.
